Especially in the loading area, the refractory lining is of great importance, since this area undergoes an extreme level of mechanical stress.
The smelting chamber also undergoes heavy mechanical stress from moving, irregularly shaped melted in parts.
For this reason, concrete molded parts and dense bricks are primarily used.
