The Rath Group

produces a full range of refractory products for application temperatures between 800°C and 1800°C.
Therefore we are one of these companies in the world, which can produce all refractory products ourselves.

Our refractory products are mainly based on Al2O3 – SiO2. However, high purity products like zircon oxide – bricks are also produced.

The raw materials are coming partially from natural deposits near the production plants but also from overseas, such as from South Africa and China.

We produce shaped refractories (bricks and pre-formed shapes made from castables), unshaped refractories (mouldables, castables) and jointing materials for brick laying. Additionally, ceramic fibres are produced as a raw material for blankets and punched parts as well as for the production of vacuum-shaped parts.

However, the RATH group is not active in the production of refractory products alone, but also in engineering of the installation, assembly and assembly supervision.
